Glaucio Andrade, a.k.a. "Glaucio DJ"

 

Glaucio Andrade, a.k.a. "Glaucio DJ", born in the city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in 1972. More than 30 years of career.

In his childhood, his uncle "Jorge" awoke in him a taste for music. As a teenager, Glaucio worked as a draftsman and started buying vinyls.

He discovered the art of DJing by listening to an old radio show, called "Top Mix", by "DJ Marlboro". Then he started going to parties, to get a closer look at his favorites Sound Systems and DJs.

Shortly afterwards, Glaucio started a DJ course by the renowned "Adriano DJ", who played in the Sound System "LIVE", one of the main ones of that time. He stood out as one of the best students and, at the end of the course, won the chance to join the team of "LIVE" and play in its Events for a long time.

Glaucio interrupted his career for a brief period, when the party sounds started to change. He returned to active duty in 2009, in the early days of "Web Radios". He was part of one of the pioneers in Brazil, "Westradiotv", associated with the video streaming "Justin.tv". Soon after, Glaucio returned to perform in public, at Flash Back parties.

He currently makes the radio show "Som de Negão" on two Web Radios: "PowerStar" (which is also broadcast by 101.7 FM in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania) and "Mistura Beat", in addition to broadcasting it simultaneously on youtube.com/somdenegao.

Glaucio прервал свою карьеру ненадолго, когда музыка на вечеринках стала меняться. Он вернулся и активно продолжил диджеить в 2009, когда начали появляться интернет радиостанции. Он был пионером движения в Бразилии "Westradiotv", которые работали со стриминговым сервисом "Justin.tv". Вскоре после этого Glaucio вернулся  играть на публику на вечеринках Flash Back parties.
