THE OPEN CALL : ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE 2022. THEME: IDENTITY

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Applicants: Emerging rappers, musicians, poets, producers, beatmakers, writers, authors and educators.

Authentic Voices Africa in collaboration with Hip Hop Association for Advancement and Education & Urban Art Beat invites our close and distant artists from around the world to apply for a one week Hip Hop residence where selected artists will come together in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa  (in person or virtually) for an authentic experience in the center of Kampala.

During the week, artists will network, connect and collaborate on music and writing projects, podcasts, discussions, artist professional development sessions and Hip Hop local community tours.
